Steven Ellison (aka – Flying Lotus) hasn’t stopped to take in what’s been going on around him, already finishing a 7-track ep due September 21st. Take a sneak peak at one of the songs and be mesmerized by the art that will grace his album cover. Pre-order the vinyl and get this spakin’ awesome poster!
Earlier in the year, Title caught up with bubbly [beat maker] Baths at his first ever residency at Low End Theory. Four months later, his debut album “cerulean” is out on Anticon and is sharing bills with the likes of Flying Lotus and Daedelus and is on a tour around the country. Stay tuned for the Fall issue for the full interview, but for now, watch the video to dive into the world of Baths as he talks about his upbringings as a classic pianist to his love for Adult Swim!
Spike Jonze, director of Where the Wild Things Are, came out a couple of months ago with a short film called I’m Here, a boy-meets-girl love story, set in LA, experienced by robots. For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, you can watch it here (fake your age if you have to, its a good watch).
There Are Many of Us celebrates the uniquely spontaneous making of Spike Jonze’s new movieĀ I’m Here. The book includes an original CD soundtrack as well as a DVD of the thirty-minute movie, with special bonus content.
You can meet Jonze and get your copy of the book signed this Saturday over at Family.
